Zen Owners Relive Iconic U.S. Championship Moments With New Famous Putts Playlist

New software release lets Zen Green Stage owners recreate iconic Championship putts while showcasing the next generation of immersive golf practice.
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA — 18 June 2026 — As the world’s best golfers compete to write the next chapter in America’s national championship, Zen Green Stage owners around the world are being invited to experience some of the game’s most memorable putting moments on their own programmable Zen Green Stages.
Zen Golf has released a new Famous Championship Putts™ playlist, featuring independently recreated putting challenges inspired by iconic moments from more than six decades of U.S. championship golf. From Ken Venturi’s courageous finish at Congressional in 1964 to Bryson DeChambeau’s dramatic championship-clinching putt at Pinehurst in 2024, golfers can now test themselves against some of the sport’s most celebrated putts on their own Zen Green Stage.
Using Zen’s patented Active Terrain Technology®, each putting challenge has been independently reconstructed to recreate the line, pace and break faced by the championship competitors. Rather than simply watching golf history, players can now experience the strategic and technical demands of these legendary moments through Zen’s immersive platform.
The exclusive playlist is available immediately to Zen Green Stage owners and is delivered automatically through the Zen software platform.
Among the featured recreations are memorable putts from:
- Ken Venturi (1964)
- Billy Casper (1966)
- Jack Nicklaus (1980)
- Tom Watson (1982)
- Payne Stewart (1999)
- Retief Goosen (2004)
- Geoff Ogilvy (2006)
- Tiger Woods (2008)
- Webb Simpson (2012)
- Jordan Spieth (2015)
- Brooks Koepka (2018)
- Jon Rahm (2021)
- Bryson DeChambeau (2024)
Each challenge has been designed to encourage golfers to appreciate not only the technical difficulty of these putts, but also the decision-making, visual perception and pace control required under championship conditions.
Will Stubbs, Head of Education at Zen Golf, said the release demonstrates how software is becoming an increasingly important part of the Zen ecosystem.
“Every great championship is remembered for defining moments on the greens. Our Famous Championship Putts playlist allows golfers to experience those moments in a completely new way—not by watching them, but by attempting them. It transforms golf history into an interactive learning experience that is both engaging and educational.”
“Our goal is to connect watching, learning and playing within a single experience. Instead of simply observing a famous putt, golfers can step into that moment, read the green, make their own decisions and discover how subtle changes in slope influence every stroke.
“It’s an engaging way to develop putting skills, but it also illustrates where golf technology is heading. Software is becoming just as important as hardware, allowing courses, coaches and golfers to access an expanding library of playable experiences that can be updated continuously.”
The playlist forms part of Zen’s growing library of immersive digital golf experiences, which already includes major championship recreations, coach-created practice environments and interactive challenges. Future releases will integrate with Zen Eye®, Putting Index®, and Play Live Golf®, allowing golfers to experience live tournament moments, advanced putting analytics, and augmented reality coaching within the same connected ecosystem.
The latest release reflects Zen’s broader vision of transforming indoor golf from static practice into immersive, representative playing experiences that bring golfers closer to the realities of the course.
Editorial note. The Famous Championship Putts playlist comprises Zen Golf’s independent recreations of historically significant golf putts, based on publicly available information and Zen’s own technology. The playlist is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or licensed by the United States Golf Association or any tournament organiser. References to historical championships and players are used solely to identify the sporting moments that inspired the recreations.
