MONDAY 20 OCTOBER 2025 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW DELHI, INDIA – – The winner and runner-up in yesterday’s DP World India Championship both train on Zen Green Stage – the world-beating moving putting surface..

The 34-year old champion, who has Zens both at his putting academy at Jumeirah Estates in Dubai and also at his UK base, is enjoying a career-best season including an unforgettable Ryder Cup last month alongside fellow Zen owners and 2025 tournament winners Justin Rose and Robert MacIntyre.

And an impressive second-placed finish for the 25-year old Japanese rising star, who added a Zen to his personal practice setup earlier this year, propels him to 12th place in this season’s Race To Dubai rankings.

In total, six of the current top 50 competitors in the season’s rankings own Zen moving floors for private practice – all choosing Zen Golf’s popular Green Stage putting-only model.

Many others on the Race To Dubai leaderboard train regularly at world-class venues such as Wentworth, The Belfry, Sea Island, PGA West, LA Country Club, Emirates GC and at multiple other venues in 27 countries worldwide, where Zen Green Stages and Zen Swing Stages deliver authentic real-world gradients.

“Zen Golf is now collaborating with many of the leading players and organizations in the sport to bring its new, dynamic performance environments into golf where before there were only static, flat surfaces” said the company’s founder, Nick Middleton.

With a thrilling final-round 65 this weekend’s victor finished two shots clear of his Japanese rival, and four shots clear of the chasing pack.

Both the winner and the runner-up are coached by Zen Golf global ambassadors: in the former’s case it is the celebrated tour putting coach Phil Kenyon, and for the latter it is Scotsman Ryan Lumsden who is now based in Australia. Lumsden managed the young golfer’s performance data as he rose to World #1 Amateur status, where he remained for a record period of 87 weeks. Lumsden also personally supervised the installation of the player’s personal Zen Green Stage in spring 2025.

The Japanese star won his first DP World Tour event at the 2024 Hero Indian Open by going wire-to-wire, and represented Japan at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

“Zen has been involved at the sharp end of Tour golf for 25 years now, since Jesper Parnevik used a Zen Oracle putter as part of his preparation to win the Honda Classic in 2000” said Middleton. “When Tour players place their trust in a Zen, and soon afterwards achieve career-defining victories and accolades – as has now happened many times – our whole team celebrates. It is a vindication of our extreme attention to detail and our obsession with quality, and of the proven suitability of Zen products for elite players and their coaches.

“The Zen brand is now acknowledged as creating the definitive adjustable playing surfaces in the sport, with our unmatched development of adaptive terrain technology. We will be excited to reveal more evidence of how Zen Golf is leading the way in this rapidly-expanding new market sector at January’s PGA Show in Orlando” he finished.
